Please keep in mind that these rules are here to ensure the efficiency and enjoyment of ny-paintball.com with respect to the diverse nature of our great paintball community.
The rules below apply to all user-posted content, including, but in no way limited to, posts, private messages, links, custom titles, user names, user bios, photos, avatars, and signatures.

Personal Attacks
Attacking other users will not be tolerated, which includes: flaming, posts designed to antagonize or offend other users, and any other such actions subject to our discretion. Antagonizing or demeaning language that isn't necessarily directed at any individual may also be considered unacceptable.

Inappropriate Language
Profanity is not allowed. Language describing illegal or sexual acts or anything else deemed inappropriate by the staff is also not allowed. Using any method to avoid the swear filter will result in an immediate ban.

Photos, Pictures and Avatars
All photos, pictures or avatars involving a human being, male or female, must submit to the following guidelines. No nudity. Posting any pornographic photos will result in an immediate ban. No revealing clothing. This means no swimsuits, wet t-shirts, no bras, or anything similar. Not to mention see through clothing with nothing on underneath.

Spamming
Spamming will not be tolerated, which includes: excessive capital letter use, excessive puntuation use (ie !!!!!), excessively long signatures, pyramid schemes or referral games, posting multiple threads, multiple accounts, posting threads in the incorrect forum, and/or any post deemed spam due to irrelevance or nuisance in nature.

Links
The content of the websites linked to must loosely meet the standards of ny-paintball.com. The staff reserves the right to block links to websites that it feels are inappropriate for the users of ny-paintball.com. See the following rules for specific types of links:
Commercial Links - When provided in response to requests for specific information they are fine, but blatant advertising and promotion, as determined by the staff, is not acceptable and will be removed. See Commercial Advertising for more information.
Forum Links - Common knowledge forums (like PbNation.com or Automags.org) can be freely posted on ny-paintball.com. Other forums can be linked to when directly providing useful information to ny-paintball.com's users, but not just for the sake of promoting the forum. If you want to advertise your new forum, put a link to it in your signature.

Commercial Advertising
Please do not use our forums to advertise your or your company's products and/or services. We will delete posts that we feel are blatant corporate promotion and/or are not responses to specific requests for such information. Please see our advertising page if you are interested in advertising a product or company. Field, tournament and other event related announcements must be posted in the Regional Forums.

Trading Forum Specific Rules
1. Only one Up post every 24 hours. An Up post is defined as any post made for the sole purpose of moving your thread back up to the top of the list.
2. Only post a reply to a For Sale or For Trade thread if you are interested in the goods being sold.
3. Do not post in someone elses For Sale thread with information about your goods for sale.
4. Do not post in a For Sale thread just to tell someone that you think the price they are selling the goods for is poor.
5. Paintball stores and companies, or associated individuals, are not allowed to use the Trading Forums to sell goods. The forums exist for paintball players.

2. Warning.
3. Complete banishment from ny-paintball.com forums.
